My son's 7th birthday was springing up and that i asked him what he wanted me and his awesome dad to obtain for him. He asked for a puppy initially, but as we currently have 2 dogs, getting another wasn't a possibility. That's when we discussed maybe getting another animal, maybe one that could stay in a cage. That's when he said he wanted to have a rabbit. I have got had some animals after a while, however, I have not had a rabbit. I had for more information on what sort of care they needed and the kinds of cages they need.
I went on the internet and started reading about keeping rabbits as pets. I needed my son go over everything with me and browse him what he would need to do as a way to care for it. He explained he would be able to undertake it, having said that i experienced a feeling I might be helping him out alot.
We also started reading about various kinds of rabbits and the man found one which he wanted to get with long hair. So the next thing was to find a local pet shop that sells them. The first pet shop I visited didn't have these types of rabbits. I visited another local pet shop and luckily they had them. He is at school when I went along to the pet shop, and i also planned to surprise him together with his new rabbit as he got home. I went ahead and picked the rabbit I wanted to have for him.
Next, I needed to more info inquire about the sales associate how many other supplies I needed for the rabbit. They showed me a few things i had from which to choose. I could obtain the cage and food or that they had the full setup that I could pick from. It was included with bedding, water bottles, food, cage and toys to the rabbit. It seemed liked the best offer. I went ahead and bought him everything he necessary to get good to go track of his new pet.
He got home from school on that day and was surprised. He was so happy with the rabbit I picked out for him. He explained he loved colour and it also was only as soft since he thought it could be. I asked him what he would name his new rabbit and the man said he would name it Thor. I told him that had been an incredible name and Thor is now a part of our family.
I reminded him what he needed to do to take care of it and I told him I might help him. They have been doing pretty well giving Thor water and food. I have got to remind him to make it happen, but they know what he is doing. He explained here is the best birthday present ever and then he really loves this rabbit. I told him it had been a good idea to get a new pet for his birthday.
